Hi, I’m Robyn, the founder of Paw on Heart. My journey with dogs has been one of connection, patience and shared trust.
When I was diagnosed with a serious health condition, my future suddenly felt uncertain. Then I met Arya. I chose her to be my support animal, but she became so much more: my companion, my comfort, and my drive to keep moving forward.
Wanting to give Arya the best life possible, I sought expert guidance on training and understanding her needs. That experience opened my eyes. I learned how to set her up for success, communicate clearly, and nurture her confidence through trust and positive reinforcement.
As Arya grew, so did our world. I began working with other people’s pets - walking dogs, visiting cats, and providing in-home care - initially to help Arya socialise during lockdown. Along the way, I met many owners who, like me, wanted the best for their animals but sometimes didn’t know where to start.
That’s when I realised my true calling: supporting others in building joyful, connected relationships with their pets. I pursued professional accreditation in positive reinforcement training, an ethical, science-backed approach rooted in trust and understanding.
And that’s how Paw on Heart came to life - born from a bond with one dog, shaped by countless lessons, and driven by a wish to bring more understanding between people and their pets.

At Paw on Heart, we believe in:
Respect and Trust - Every dog learns at their own pace, and training should be built on patience and understanding.
Commitment and Love - The strongest bonds form when owners invest in their dog’s growth with kindness and consistency.
Clear Communication - Training is more than just teaching commands. It’s about understanding your dog’s needs, emotions, and signals.
Why Train with Me?
